I spoke to the 'Performance Manager' today regarding training for new starters. He basically told me all that happens is they do their induction on Day 1, Day 2 they are in a DO and out on a walk with no other training. His words were 'they should of learnt everything on Day 1 at the induction'............wtf!
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

it's also outdated for some reason you resurrected an 8-year-old thread.

Twas me! I linked to it in a new starters thread query, can't rem which one now.
You say outdated? Is there an up to date one, anyone?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
