injury at work

Post by 48ricks »

Following quite a serious injury ,whilst out on delivery . I returned to the office to report the injury. I then got myself off to hospital. My partner was furious, saying it was my employers responsibility to protect my welfare - and that they had neglected their 'duty of care'. I am now intending to take the matter further and make an official complaint against my treatment. It is just the indifferent way that I was treated by the management team , more worried about having to find someone to finish the delivery, than my well being, that upset me. It left a sour taste .
We were advised by the depot to return any written complaints on to them, and they would forward them to proper persons.
However , I don't trust them to do this. I need the address of the persons , I can take this matter further with.
