A colleague of ours who comes under the Equality Act due to heart problems has had an Optima Health referral and it hasn’t gone the company’s way, it appears that they have put pressure on Optima to think again and they’ve now decided that he’s got to have a CAT intervention. Anyone know what this is or entails?

What is CAT? Cognitive Analytic Therapy, or CAT, is a focussed, time- limited psychological therapy designed for NHS patients suffering from a wide range of mental health problems, as well as patients with disabilities and physical health problems.

For RM, think it stands for Capability Assessment Test. I presume it's to see what you can/can't do at work.

I know the link below is for DWP benefits, but it has a questionnaire that may help show what general kind of questions may be asked or ultimately need to be answered for a workplace Capability Assessment Test. Probably worth a read through a couple of times if only for some advanced research.
