Re: pig flu
Symptoms of flu
Flu is an infectious disease of the upper air passages (known as the upper respiratory tract).
The symptoms are:
* fever that comes on quickly (38-40C; 100-104F),
* sweating and feeling feverish,
* general muscle aches and pains,
* a feeling of general tiredness,
* dry, chesty cough,
* sneezing,
* running or blocked nose, and
* difficulty sleeping.
Looking at the symptoms it would seem that I've been suffering from flu for the past 2 years

Re: pig flu
We need a good dose of Spanish Flu from 1919 to have a good cull of people, managers dropping like flies because they don't have any immune system (coffee induced immune deficiency syndrone
).

Re: pig flu
Maybe we should call it "lets take your mind off the con trick flu" ,you can't really call it 'swine flu' ,cos there's no pigs dropping down dead, and i would suggest 'banker flu' but not a one of them has even caught a cold

Re: pig flu
confronted two del managers regarding swine flu and what royal mails plans are for this impending crisis on the workforce
both had no clue didn't seem at all interested in the subject and quickly made their excuses and left
does anyone know ?
will we be punished for going of sick? or should we stay at work and infect everybody else!
what about workers with health problems ie asthma and diabetes who may have to take time off to recover will they get stage ones, twos, threes or the sack
seems to me that royal mail need to take their head out of the sand and brief their employees rather than still finding ways of saving money

If you have to crawl in on your hands and knees then you'd better do it, just make sure the press know you have been forced to come in and spread it around the general population.postmanfat wrote:confronted two del managers regarding swine flu and what royal mails plans are for this impending crisis on the workforce

Unless I get a letter from Adam Crozier himself telling me that I won't get a warning for being off with Swine Flu then I coming in.

Re: pig flu
We were told in WTL that it's just counted as a normal sick absence.
