RMPP illustration low figure

Hi I assume you all have received a letter with a new portal code, which I duly logged in and I asked for an illustration based on retirement at 60, I got these figure which does seem low.

That looks like your RMPP Age60 figures, which will be very low for everyone.

You'll have Age65 benefits via the RMPP as well.

Yes it seem to be, I've not asked the 65 quote as I plan claim it when due.

I've opened up a Stocks and Shares ISA account to protect my future since both my Flexiplan and Bonusplan AVC have stopped taking payments.

When it comes to pensions you can't take your eye off the ball.

Indeed, the RMSPS website is a bit clunky bit like Capita, it would be nice if they reset it and make it more user friendly, but we're talking Capita here.

It might be worth pointing out for anyone unsure, that RMSPS pay the vast majority of Age60 with RMPP only paying a percentage of some inflationary increases to those benefits.

Both RMSPS and RMPP pay out Age65, so it's important to add up your figures from both to get a full picture of your overall pension.

I haven't had an activation code sent to me yet, but it seems the RMPP portal provides more info than the old calculator, and is easier and quicker(and cheaper for RMPP) than sending for a quote.
Which is good, but to complete the circle we need RMSPS to provide a similar online tool. With options for AVC's included!

Capita do the bare minimum glad they lost the contract - the whole pension really needs to go in-house so all the information is in one place...would help a lot.
