The Trustee of the Royal Mail Pension Plan (RMPP) notes that shareholders holding more than 75% of IDS shares have accepted the offer, meaning the takeover has become unconditional.
The Trustee’s primary focus is unchanged – ensuring the RMPP is managed in the interests of its 123,000 members.
We will continue to work closely with IDS and Royal Mail Group Limited, the sponsoring employer, as well as the new owner, EP Group, to maintain the current healthy funding position of the Plan and to safeguard its future stability.
Please be assured that there is no change to your benefits and there is no action that you need to take.

Im not taking my NRA65 /cash balance for another 5 years - hope it will be safe until then ?( didnt i read that the pensions are only guaranteed by government up to 2012
