Pension supplement ?

Post by Meloned1 »

Morning folks when you leave Royal Mail and you have already taken your pension you’re entitled to a pension supplement on top of the pension I’ve got on my forms. My question is do I have to inform them of myself leaving or do Royal Mail let them know through wages etc ? Cheers for any advice on this question :thumbup

You'll have to tell both RMSPS and RMPP yourself, and expect to wait a few months until it's paid.

Thank you very much again you’re a great help as usual RobertT :thumbup
Would that be in writing or phone call ? Which is best ? Plus I’m assuming it’ll be back dated :thumbup

Letter, phone, email, it's your choice.
Yes, it should be backdated.
