protect us wrote::lfo :cfo well what about "FLEXABILITY" also ! not only are they ripping off our pensions they are ripping off our bodies ! in our office its total chaos,heavy everyday and all im hearing is all crap about being flexible ! to cop that we have "PEAGUSUS" which is just a f.in joke and im sick of this job - all walks will be moved around,bits took off one walk on to another e.t.c. we wont be alive to get our pension as we will be worked to DEATH! im so upset i was proud to be a postie - now i want out - but before i go if its another strike BRING IT ON f..k these two :cfo :lfo you have made so many old school workers that are the only ones left that do the job dedicated and securely with pride , want out- you have cut costs so the service has gone and now you are about to take off our pension - it makes me so upset. as for managers out on pickett - worried now are you huh you have all met more and more cut backs that have been agreed by your twats above you - you have been YES men so in time you will too see that the company have shat on you also - you have been fighting to keep your jobs but not thinking of the long term effects to ALL. im not going without a fight - in the hope all will be well again , so lets all FIGHT ON HOPE a turn around can happen ,stick together (it may get tougth again ) and if not -and i say this with a tear in my eye SEEK ALTERNATIVE EMPLOYMENT !! TAKE CARE EVERYONE :lfo :cfo

What a post, made me sad to read this, but your words fellow worker are so very true. We should just take the money and run!! I love my job but we have to face the real world in what is happening to it. Its not looking nice. But i always say other jobs could be worse and thats sometimes why i am afraid to make the move.

thanks madelin4 - im so glad im not the only one thats scared to find another job thinking like yourself theres lots worse ! however im finding that the workload is just getting too much everyday - add that with all the other crap thats going on , oh yes by the way since the pay rise im now earning less as overtime for everyone has been lost , so what was a great job and salary quite hard to match or even beat has now become one of the worst !! i think so many of us HOPED and still live in HOPE things would not end up this way but now we must all be confident and try a career change if we can ! its a total shame as i LOVED the job and people and of course the retirement would have been one of the best pensions available but .... yea a SAD SAD TIME

If it is any consolation i to feel the same as you but you know and i can see from your post's that you are a fighter and you will never give up just like me!. STAY STRONG AND LET US SEE THEM :cfo & :lfo GO BEFORE US!.

thanks for that ! i intend to hang on in there as long as poss , however if i lose my round or get any more slung on to me i think i will have to go

but i no they want people to walk so they get away with pay offs so i will go when IM ready ! it is such a shame . YOU CAN ASSURE AND COUNT ME IN FOR THE FIGHT !! best wishes all .

Our last IA included the pensions issue. Certainly our branch and I would imagine all the others (perhaps not!) made it clear that a yes vote was a vote for pension reform which is accepted by our national leadership. Yes, we'll fight to the bitter end, but the time to fight it was then when we were strong. This is definately a case of I told you so. So are all those who voted to go back to work now going to vote to go back on strike for an issue they weren't concerned about before? But who cares it's only us who are going to lose out by thousands upon thousands of pounds. Billy and Dave suddenly realising the consultaion exercise was a sham! Don't make me laugh. Do they think we're all stupid? I'm sure a lot of members could quite easily get disillusioned over the whole debacle, or maybe that's the masterplan by the executive........to stifle any interest in elections.
And as for the CMA going on strike.......
