A quick update, I applied online to take my 65 pension early, The date I applied was around the 24th Jan. I received all the paperwork in Feb and towards the end of Feb I had sent both forms off, RMPP and Capita. I had a brief letter off RMPP to acknowledge my returned form. Nothing from Capita. I asked on both RMPP and Capita forms for the pension to start on 1 May. I presumed that would mean I would receive both lump sums on the 1st of May and my monthly pension on the last day of May. But no lump sums on 1st May so phoned up RMPP, they said I would get my lump sum on the 9th May, no explanation why the 9th May not the 1st, I tried to ask but could barely understand the woman on the phone so gave up. Phoned Capita, they acknowledged receipt of my application form but said they can't pay my lump sum until they have heard back from RMPP, I could hardly hear her either, I think she was working from home and she must live in a cave
Today (Wed 7th May) I received a letter off RMPP stating I would get lump sum on 9th May and monthly pension from the end of May. No letter off Capita yet.....why can't we sign some sort of form at the beginning of this whole process to let the two parties RMPP and Capita talk to each other? the whole palaver would be so much simpler! I will update again if/when I hear from capita and if I actually do get one or both lump sums

When I reach my nra60 pension date last year I received my final figures from RMPPwell in advance ...... I received my final figures letter from RMSPS on my 60th Birthday... which was nice of them to keep in touch!
The main thing was that the both PCLS hit my bank account on the due date.
