Try and find anything that doesn't have bias. Newpapers do too, and you're not likely to see a scathing report about BT on one page and an advert for BT on the next and when you consider that the price of a newspaper does not cover the costs to prepare, print and despatch, advertising is an essential part of the whole business. Without advertising you either make no money or lose money. Even the mighty Google depends on it.

The BBC which often gets knocked for items considered biased (from all sides) relies on subscription for funding but everyone else needs ads to exist - TV most of all. Bias is dependent on many things, including your own personal viewpoint. A outsider to RMC would see it as very 'left' and therefore biased but if you hold a smilar viewpoint, you'll see it as 'unbiased' or even 'the truth'. If we had threads singing the virtues of management then you could argue otherwise but its fair to say that even RMC is biased - in its own way. There really isn't such a thing as unbiased reporting - it isn't possible. Bias is everywhere, from the ads on bus shelters to local gossip. Personally, I don't buy papers but I do read the internet versions and read across all of them to hopefully get a better idea of whats going on rather than stick to one or just one type.

The Times for instance, pitches its content at those who can afford to buy into the ads it displays - thats how newspapers work. The Sun, Daily Mirror etc display content that suits their ads too. If you buy a newspaper that you like, then thats great, but it will be just as biased as the rest. What you choose to read is just as likely to be influenced by where you live, your background, what your parents thought etc - thats a bias in itself. If you're looking for a source that sticks up for postal workers then RMC is here but you can't expect everyone else to do so. You have to ask yourself - why would they want to?
