DBCBS transfer

In my recent options letter to take my nra 60 pensions there is an option for the RMPP that allows you to use some of the DBCBS to fund the lump sum. But it also states that if you do you may not be able to transfer the remaining DBCBS out later on. Perhaps that is why you have an extra NRA60 transfer form.

You might be right - it would be helpful if there was a separate stand alone form if you just want to transfer the DBCBS only.

I would guess the RMPP element of your Age60 benefits is also available to transfer out without IFA approval, as it's likely to be less than £30k in value.

Presumably there's a choice to transfer one or the other, or both?

The Age65 part will be more than £30k for most people, and an IFA would be needed to transfer that as it's a DB pension.
There's probably a different form for that.
