PROCESSING RESOURCE REALIGNMENT

RDC QUALITY CHECKLIST & WBC QUALITY CHECKLIST

Dear Colleagues

Further to documentation shared previously via LTB 374/18 regarding the Processing Resource Realignment activity, as outlined discussions with the business have continued in relation to Quality Checklists to be added to the suite of documents for RDC’s & WBC’s.

Discussions have now concluded and checklists for the RDC’s and WBC’s have been finalised and endorsed by the Postal Executive.

These documents have now been incorporated into Appendix 2 of the Joint Statement Regarding Resource Realignment in Mail Centres, Regional Distribution Centres and Walk Bundling Centres to Support Deployment of Guiding Principles of Employment Security and Mutual Interest Approach to Future Challenges and Opportunities and the Shorter Working Week, as follows:

 Annex D – RDC Quality Checklist

 Annex E – WBC Quality Checklist

A revised version of the complete Resource Realignment Joint Statement, with the above mentioned Annexes included, is therefore attached for your information.

Colleagues are informed that the department is currently seeking to have the completed suite of documents produced in booklet form and our intention will be to provide copies in the near future to Branches, Divisional and Area Processing Representatives for ease of reference.

Any enquiries in relation to this LTB should be addressed to: Davie Robertson, Assistant Secretary, email: dwyatt@cwu.org or shayman@cwu.org quoting reference 733.02.

Yours sincerely

Davie Robertson

Assistant Secretary
