Reserve collection driver
I am starting soon as a reserve collection driver on a 30 hr contract. Does that mean I will have different duty every day and is there scope for overtime in different departments as 30 hours will not be enough to live on

Yes a reserve covers leave, sickness etc once trained up.
As to overtime, can't say for certain obviously as each office is different. However, most offices have plenty of overtime available in Deliveries if not in collections.
PS. Collections come under Blue Shirts (where I've moved your post to) unless you are a Mail Centre collection driver.
