New MCM looking to cut or reduce SAs to "winter only"!
Looking like a national instruction seeming as jubilee had a similar thing happen recently ?
Any other MCs heard anything?

No the SA withdrawal at JMC was down to the Area Processing refusing to agree the EVRs proposal which most of his Processing committee was happy with. But it has been resolved now.
Southampton MCM is pulling a dodge with this one.

New MCM is intent on cutting as many hours as possible, and then when they end up short of hours(pretty much every day/shift)they end up getting casuals in.Total joke!

Instead of listing overtime a week in advance,as has happened for many many years, they wait until the shift starts before working out how many hours short they are to clear each area and then get people in at very short notice, meaning very few staff get a look in!
I work nights, which is the only shift where overtime is prelisted still, but I understand it happens across the other shifts.
