Many MC Admin staff are in the process of going through another preference excercise. One of the options is a buy down in hours. If someone was to buy down to part time , the two options under MTSF you receive a copmensation payment and then go to PT hours or receive the FT salary for 2 yr and then revert to a PT one. If any future redundency was offered would the redundancy payment be based on the reduced hrs only.
As an example say you have worked 35yrs FT goto reduced hrs for say 2 yrs do you get "credit" applied for the 35yr FT to the payment or is the redunancy soley based on the pay you are receiving when the redunancy is offered to you?
