How things have changed.

Remember all the sorting rates for manual letters, flats and packets. So many per minute. A tool for managers to mess with people, a sanctioned way to threaten those not on the friends and family list. It came to nothing for them. We got an hour off the working week and PBS bonus. What a terrible mistake and road to go down. How can the most unintelligent people in the mail centre be expected to test the speed and accuracy of someone who has sorted letters for twenty years, insulting and embarrassing. Now casuals can sort any mail without training, coming and going, with no regularity of staff.
