Just wondering as a couple of fellas where i work on delivery are struggling with all the walking, and were interested in getting in to a local M.C, only to be told there are no vacancies. Do mail centers ever get any new full time transfers coming in from delivery?

The three I know of came in under ATOS. All work part time but this might be through choice.

The only duties where you can sit down in a MC that aren't specialist duties are manual letters and flats. Worth also noting that any ft vacancies should be offered to pt staff in the mail centre before any ft staff from a do or anywhere else is offered it, it's the resultant vacancy usually pt that would then go up for someone to tf in to
