Does HR / Wages dept allow royal mail staff to change from weekly pay to monthly pay ? Would it be a good idea for Royal mail to these changes ? How beneficial would it be ?

Does HR / Wages dept allow royal mail staff to change from weekly pay to monthly pay ? Would it be a good idea for Royal mail to these changes ? How beneficial would it be ?

The only way to change from weekly to monthly pay is join the dark side.
There aren't many of us weekly paid bods left though, even my eldest boy who only works 12 hours a week while he's at Uni gets paid monthly and he's on minimum wage...fecking shysters..
There was a time when changing to monthly pay meant the business could save a great deal in HR costs, I remember the NHS about 15-20 years ago went to monthly pay but now that most of the payroll stuff is automated there isn't a great deal in it. You could argue that with having such a huge paybill Royal Mail could make money from holding on to our wages for 4 weeks but interest rates are piss poor.indravadan wrote:
