are all mail centres now the same running with a large amount of agency staff?

no wonder the business doesn't seem too worried about the strike ballot

I've been on holiday for the last couple of weeks but HWDC/Heathrow either usually has a few floating about or hordes. It depends on the time of year and work flow and whatever else. We just opened up a second building next door to the original one (we're in an industrial park a few miles from the airport) and right now, we don't have near enough regular staff to cover the increased workload.

Occasionally word filters down that the mail centre is going to kick that casual habit but that never appears to last particularly long.
