Sheffield MC Planning Application

Does anyone know if a planning application has been sent in, approved or rejected? we are in the dark and i have had a look on the sheffield council web site and cant find any. Its a bit worrying seen as Donny are supposed to be coming in a couple of years and we are not extending the building yet, are they waiting until april for the new financial year? or are we going to be closed?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Thanks for that Postman, i know all that about the MC's closing but we were told that building work to extend sheffield would start very soon after the consultation peroid was over and nothing has happened yet and i can't find a planning application online for the extention.

i think they are working on the over flow car park as of now. presumedly to allow more cars to park safely down there to clear the normal car park....... to start the extension... also heard 2 lsm are being moved for the work to begin. i think they are trying to work out if they remove 2 lsm's how is the work that they do going to get done.... technical stuff.... :nana

I have heard that Sheffield MC have to put a flood barrier/defence
In due to it being built on a flood plain(royal mail have to pay for it)and until this happens the
Planning application won't succeed

When i left sat morning no work was being done.

I had heard planning was rejected, Is that true about flood barrier belly????
