Post by yodsaenklaikoba »

What are the levels of staff in a mail centre from the highest rank i.e. mail centre manager to the lowest rank?

Why ?????

(TBH the question itself is a bit like asking how long is piece of string, as levels would depend on many things, no of staff, catchment area, number and distance of feeding units, no and distance of Delivery Office, traffic levels etc etc)

Well said hot fudge. You could be in just as much trouble if you crossed one of these people as if you crossed a manager. Self promoted their importance to the manager as a friend, although they have to work at it, means seniority has no meaning for them and they get a nice easy day, every day.

Moya - Mother of Young Arnold

Every MC has 1 or 3 "Arnolds" - grown ups who need to have their mummy come to work with them.
Although she is on the workfloor looking after her "Arnold" (and making sure he isn't bullied, retying his shoelaces, getting his lunch etc) she remains bottom of the seniority list.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Shouldn't it read:
  • Plant Manager: (Struts around randomly to talk to his plants and intimidate them to grow)
Shift Manager: (Wander around with a watering can and Baby Bio tending the Plant Managers every needs)
Work Area Manager: (Adjusts above mentioned plants so the sun shines thru every orifice)
Postman/Woman: (The "grass"that holds the Plant / MC together, and 99.5% have " MC hayfever" so can't tolerate plant related nonsense)
WCM / Ass Kissers, (et. al): (These "people" fill in the missing .5% from above, and take their "MC Hayfever" medication to remain immune - especially after their lobotomy)
Casual: (The people who'll eventually be given minimal wage contracts after the postal service is ground down to the bare bones)
Moya: (Postal workers have few sightings of the lesser spotted Moya. Some compare her to Max Headroom, a real life hologram / Virtual CEO)
