Special Delivery no show

Been waiting on a special delivery that was posted on the 4th and is now sitting in "the national distribution centre" and has been sitting there since the 6th according to track and trace. Where is this and why have I been receiving second class post that has just been sent out but not this parcel? Any chance of receiving this soon do you think?

That's Royal Fail for you Why people don't just use 2nd class instead of wasting money on 3rd rate special/recorded beats me.

Reason for special delivery is so that it spends as little time as possible with royal mail. Its like if you have ever worked in a food factory, you will never ever eat that food again. Behind the scenes is a real eye opener. Managers couldnt run a raffle!

spacial deliveries are no longer guaranteed due to the bad weather an christmas rush ,was told today.This is going to be the case until dec 24th.

i use 2nd class postage all the time. Gets there in the same time.
