RIP Bradford mail centre

Told this week that Bradford mail centre will close mid 2013.
All processing mail going to Leeds Mail Centre.


It seems of the 6 alternative options put forward by the CWU to prevent closure none of them met the costings or efficiency savings.

Have to agree.
Royal mail just want to close offices reduce manpower and ain't interested in quality of service..

If your office is in line for closure resign yourself to the fact regardless of any 90 day cosultation period

they have 12 month to re submit it without further cost

leeds MC is already there, and belive me there is plenty of dissused baron industrial land all around it.
if they want to build they will.

erm i am aware the building is there but they have withdrawn the application for any extention.
