breaks on a 12 and 10 hour duty

hi can anyone tell me how many breaks your entitled to when on a 12 and 10 hour duty?

10hrs - 50 mins
12 hrs - 60 mins

There are local agreements to take into account as well though - swmc mentioned his location in another post, at Swindon an 8 hour duty attracts 60min breaks so at the minimum you should be having for 12 hours is 60min for 8 hours plus 20min for another 4 hours, you'd have to see a rep though to find out the correct figure. There's quite a proportion of reps on Earlies, the Lates rep has quit (although one of the earlies is normally in till gone 5pm) and at last count 2 reps on Nights.

Thanks for the link Postiewith... very informative When our PTers work OT and do 8hrs our DIM likes to argue the toss. After all it effects his bonus!

Last time he said, "No you get 20mins! I thought you'd have appreciated the extra money earned on OT!" What a neck In a nearby DO my mate was told, "That's what your contracted for", he's also only contracted to WORK for 4Hrs

Management obviously like to keep these allowances quiet, think I'll ask my Rep to put it on the noticeboard.
