one sheet does all

Post by cardiff-nights »

the amount of paperwork that has been introduced to my imp is pissing me off, one monster sheet to track throughput.. this has to be marked every 5 mins, the 5 s , hourly destacked mail, new one last night, check boxes for missorts and log..if we need to save money how about stop inventing bullshit bits of paper..better still instead of managers pushing yorks about & segging off mail how about coming to the imps and do it them effing selves! wouldnt mind if someone took them away each day, but no, still there the end of the week :whistle whaaats the point.

The truth is that the more paperwork that exists then the more managers they need to administer it, I've never been in a job that creates so much paperwork that is just for it's own sake (filling in the same details 3/4/5 times), maybe if they actually invested in some modern equipment then one computer (with a touchscreen) could take the info at the point of entry and send it to all the relevent destinations.

And where might that be EXACTLY?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

plans are instore to cut tpm time by 60-80% (wonders if allowance will be cut aswell), wcm,mr quasimoto are doing a great job creating work for the paper mills & jumped up little hitlers who have hopped on the wcm bandwagon of bullshit. end of the day what does it create? a nice clean machine that produces the same figures as it did 2years ago, & if you want to do more you will, if you dont it wont, we dont..so it wont its designed to stop us doing crosswords i reckon, instead of spending 25 mil on wc bollox, how about spending it on staff instead of kicking every sod out the door :coolr :wave

Seriously - the same place you write everything down.

Why don't they just hook up a computer to the IMPs, have that record the data then have that computer print off any end of shift reports that are needed?
