Would like to know if anyone has ever experienced problems with back payments for TPM. Person took up duty 18 months ago but was never trained was told not to worry as when she was trained would get the TPM backdated but now trainers are denying this and saying won't get it.
Has anyone else any experience of this ?

Re: BACKPAYMENTS OF TPM ALLOWANCE
When you say took up duty but not trained,do you mean they havent been on the machines?I hope so,because if they were running an IMP/LSM or whatever without TPM,then they and whoever let them do it were breaking H/S BIGTIME!BRAVEHEART09 wrote:Would like to know if anyone has ever experienced problems with back payments for TPM. She won't. TPM Allowance is only paid after the training is signed off as complete. To somehow get it back-dated to a time before this date would be fraudulent.Would like to know if anyone has ever experienced problems with back payments for TPM. Not at all. We have loads of operators with no TPM training, mainly because TPM training only happens at fairly long intervals, but people sign in (or out) of mech duties quite often and have to wait the next training course. TPM training isn't a necessity for a mech duty.if they were running an IMP/LSM or whatever without TPM,then they and whoever let them do it were breaking H/S BIGTIME! :

I wouldn't necessarily describe your place as Mickey Mouse, but I've heard there's some very unhappy staff there.........

Re: BACKPAYMENTS OF TPM ALLOWANCE
I think TPM allowance should be stopped and those who work on the machine to be trained and paid 'Machine Allowance'. If you work on the machine and not getting paid is against Health Safety and Equal Opportunity.
