South London diversion

Post by igyboy »

I think it is disgusting that work from south london is being diverted to our office at STRATFORD E15
Our union rep has informed union headquarters and nothing more has been heard.
The machines are being run by managers but there are some strike breakers at our office who work the nights and dont think its JUST WRONG
This has been going on for the last 2 and a half weeks

Diverting work to other offices is normal practice for management and HQ know all about it.
Its strike breakers or colleagues who work at these offices who are handling this work on docket who should ba ashamed of themselves. :mad

We have been receiving mail for sorting from Nine Elms for SW London, and have been told we
will be doing it for at least the next two weeks, and until the backlog is cleared, which management
seem to think will take at least 4 weeks - though I don't think that's likely.
We're not happy about it, but nearly all of our (Inward Foreign) work is being diverted to the Dartford
scab warehouse, HWDC, Jubilee MC, and other offices.
We are not doing it on OT though. There has been no OT in our MC for the last year, except Xmas.
