Tracked Mail
Anyone here deal with tracked mail? Do you have to record on paper how much each DO gets for tracked? Is it picking up a fair bit? Here at Dorset the both the outward and inward continue to get busier, I just hope that we get issued with longer life batteries for the PDAs, one PDA was down to 7% battery the other night.

The tracked items are scanned whenever they arrive at the DO and then they get scanned whenever they get delivered.

In our office all tracked items go out with the vans, so they can be scanned on delivery.

Most of our tarcked are so big they need to go on a van. But when they are small they go ion the walk and we just put the barcode of the signature sheet and write delivered next to it.
