first line fix money?
Had to laugh when someone asked last year what was happening with our first-line-fix money.
Manager was giving the usual 'I'll have to get back to you' response when one of my mates interrupted him to say he'd heard it was all earmarked for a brand new set of carpets.
Puzzled, the manager says 'New carpets? What new carpets?'
My mate pipes up 'You know, to replace the ones that are bent out of shape from all the stuff that's been swept under 'em lately'
Happy days

Today a small TV with video, plus cabinet arrived with an arial thats bigger than the TV! Tommorow a DVD and Freebox player thingybob arrives. Today we watched telly tubbies but the rest of the week wont have time. (gutted) I love tiddly winky.
This is in addition to the big massive 900 inch Plasma LCD crap that cost RM 8 bloody grand per orafice hanging/wobbling from our ceiling. In the reare times it is switched on, it just tells us stupid stuff like wear sun cream or drink lots of water. Its as if we are all NUMPTIES. Why ain't Little and Large ( :cfo :lfo ) got one then?

Now thats a coincidence as today at our WTLL session, the last item was FLF,and did we have any ideas how to spend the money?
Now that came as a 'f' ing big surprise to me as a couple of years ago I was told by a manager that ,it was no longer operating and was finished, this begs the question,if this scheme is still running whats happened to the money over the last couple of years?,I know that the budget was held in Edinburgh, and that,no money as such was dished out,but in my office it seems strange that the managers got mini fridge, kettle etc,
I think im going to dig a bit deeper on this, maybe in the first instance write to the DOM,then to the IB,(anyone got an address),and of course to our great leader i'll just ask Alan.
The more you know, the worse it gets.
