Isle of Islay Postal Farce

So on Islay 6 posties resigned in 2 weeks mainly cos of the way they are treated and working conditions. Apparently being forced to work unpaid overtime didn't agree with them. So now some people on the island haven't had post since 20th October. Universal Service Obligation?? Those that do get new post only as the old stuff is stored in Glasgow or so it seems. What I can't quite work out is if RM can't spare any posties from other areas to clear the backlog where did they find the ones to look busy when STV and BBC film crews turn up ??
