Over the last couple of weeks night shifts seem to have quietened down quite a bit at our Mail Centre. Tracked packets are still busy and flats are picking up again, but there are less large and normal packets. Are other MCs finding a similar trend?
We still divert almost all of the 2C/T48 (a permanent arrangement) and only process the 1C/T24 and 2C mech letters locally on back shift. Of course all the local 2C comes back the following day!

Busier than ever
It slowed down in my DO in the past 2 weeks, it looks like summer is finally here and Christmas is close

Yep seems quieter across different shifts - still busier than normal but manageable
Slowly the sorting changes forced by Covid are being removed e.g. how airmail is processed or mail being sent to the normal destinations rather than PSCs
Advancement is taking place as per shift plans
We aren't diverting mail any more other than Monday
DOs are reporting less mail although still busy
