That's just the way it works with the old school tie /right side of the tracks family. Get to a critical level of status and you could strangle everyones mum and the least costly option is to pay you off.
Take for instance the MD of a construction firm, Caught, bang to rights stealing £6million . Paid off 1/2 a million simply because the publicity from prosecution would have wiped double the loot from the share price. Nice work if you can get it

Any update to this? I've been hearing rumours that a certain senior manager who was 'allowed' to resign is claiming that the information was planted on his computer, and even named the culprit. All sorts of other stories about the number of staff at Glasgow still under investigation - plenty!!

Well our union being NEARLY as corrupt probably had money appearing in their back pockets as El Money De Hush, that's why we hear nothing, and never will.

Union reps are far too friendly with management in GMC, and use us all as bargaining tools .. time to get another union in, a bit of competition for the union dinosaurs.

CWU are the only winners in the privatisation market as well, because they have gathered members from TNT and all the other DSA companies that are our COMPETITORS.

I digress . . .

Considering i'm constant early shift i very much doubt i'd deal with any night shift rep, or any rep .. they all had a spine-ectomy years ago, and are in no-mans land just now, nothing to do, nowhere to go.

I very much doubt anyone has a pro-union opinion in GMC unless, of course, they are a rep

Well kids ....rumours circulating within Glasgow M.C are that our former MCM has been let go with 2yrs wages!...A.W has defintely gone as well.......also 2 members of staff allegedly involved in the scam will be returning to work next week with a years serious up their ronson lighters !! So is this true ..who knows..........................Anyway i can see the WOrld Class Mail inititave here is going well with more staff contributing to it ....these guys just dont get it must be the lure of free dinners,junkets to forgein lands ,time of the shop floor ,etc,etc,etc ....so what else is happening..erm ohh the conveyer packet thingy is apparently leaving us in march although our reps dont know this (suprise suprise) also what about the branch that coudnt care less that some members have not had a vote in the recent local ballot...and what if you are off sick when there is a workplace ballot ,well ...you dont get a postal vote (is this a knew thing?) anyway ,enough ...as the italians say ..ciao for now xxx

Our reps don't even know the day of the week, never mind the future plans.
