Transfering from postman to lgv driver ?

Dont do it !! ....... the job is a nightmare, traffic, shift patterns are diabolical, weekend working and ongoing training, VOSa, Dft and the old bill all out to shaft you at the first chance.

Could you give an example of the shift patterns

ssiscool how did you get information about getting training or getting started for LGV driving?
I've been asking my managers, CWU rep, even Mr.McCann when he pops in now and again, but all I get is "I'll find out for you". But I still don't know how to get going or who to ask.
