It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: World Class Mail programme RM press release
I've been asking by at least 2 lino's if id like to "get involved" in WCM,and would rather be trapped in a lift with DPG,FT,tman and a tub of butter!
The only people who think its any good are the MCM and shift managers who are on fully paid release time, and all the wannabe lino's and other plebs who thinks it gives them some sort of status

Well Tman I work in a MC on the mech and RM,s versionTman wrote:I wonder how many on here who seem to be critical of WCM are actually involved with WCM, and how many have only heard about it through a mate who speaks to a bloke from the local MC....
of World Class is laughable, they place more importance
on things that won't improve the service one iota
they only pick the bits of it that suits them at the time
because they are only using it as a way to cut jobs
if people cant/wont see this then they are in denial
of the obvious JEEZ, even David Blunkett could see
what's behind this nonsense. In another life i worked
for a large company who embraced World Class in a
far bigger way than RM ever will and it did work, but
there's no way this feeble attempt at "IMPROVEMENT"
is going to work, it's all smoke and mirrors, their up
to no good with this

The two where FT asks you if you are involved in WCM..............Tman wrote:

The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Oh, is that all there was to Posties's post? The two where FT asks you if you are involved in WCM.............
I thought there would have been something much more to his point than me passing over irrelevant stuff like that, although I'm still waiting for his definition of "info" vs canteen whispers...
Sorry, I didn't realise every little one-liner required an answer.

Re: World Class Mail programme RM press release
I asked a simple question.Tman wrote: I thought there would have been something much more to his point than me passing over irrelevant stuff like that,
Are you involved with WCM?
If it is irrelevant then i apologise but i thought that your point was people were too ready to comment on things they knew nothing about.
I just wanted to know from which position you commented from...info or rumour?
