It's easy to get bored after 3-4 hours keying and no motivation for another 4 hrs. I know some (maybe most of) permanent employees also hate this job, so could you plz tell me why you guys carry on keying for years??? really curious about it
What is your job now? :cuppa

They get paid.
If the climate was a bank, they would already have saved it.

Pays the bills, needed a change, and wanted to keep fit. Planning to leave in just over 2 years when last kid leaves school. The job for me has too extremes, outside door work is fantastic, inside door work atmosphere really gets me down, one of the most depressing places I have ever worked in.

Agree. If next year I still apply for RM temps I would like to choose delivery jobs :)

So that made me even more curious. Some male employees look very sporty, how can they stand it...

Inside, sitting, screen, keying, night shift, rather harmful for health.
We don't casuals on delivery. Takes too long to train you and you'd be too slow. Thats why you get the mundane work in the MC.
Yes. MDEC is a totally mundane work, and I think those good keyers can do even better in other fields, that's why I ask them this question :)
