Xmas MDEC 2010

Post by Ed Hunter »

Does anyone know if the temp MDEC at Royal Mail Sunderland is going to be running this year? I've done the last 5 years and would like another crack at it this year.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Is this the place people stick barcodes on envelopes obscuring the address? Please confirm this is done for a laugh at deliveries' expense.

Xmas Casual vacancies are usually advertised around the end of September or beginning of October.

On my pay slip RM are already alerting people to tell friends who might be interested about the Xmas recruitment.

Not sure when you can actually apply - but keep your eyes and ears open. It's usually in September.

Okays, update. I passed the assessment last month.

I've now secured an interview this week for a coaching role. I'd be grateful if anyone in a similar role could pass on some tips for me to help me get the job. Many thanks in advance.
