£700 Foster Chairs

Post by Magnus »

Anybody read the report in the Daily Mirror over the RM fitting their headquarters with expensive chairs and desks?

It really is a pity that after 9 months, they still HAVE NOT put arms on the chairs of MDEC keyers. This is despite ongoing unhappiness over the issue. Everybody is sick to death of getting arm ache after half an hour.

Listen muppets - sort it out.

We are quite happy with bog standard chairs, rather than the £700 Foster Chairs, just put some arms on them!!!

Take care, folks.

Thanks for pointing that out, TrueBlueTerrier.

I would have mentioned it myself, but I tend to go straight to the 'MDEC Staff' thread.

No worries - but it is truly obscene that they get £700 chairs yet they can't even spend money on keeping their workers comfortable and to help reduce muscle strain and RSI.

No change there then. :arrrghhh

Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

This story sounds even more crazy given the recent news on the Royal Mail pensions "black hole".

BTW, I would just like to update folks that SIX chairs were fitted with arms upstairs, according to my sources.

At this rate, the rest of the chairs just might have arms by the year 2035.
