New Manager - Stockport MDEC
Yes Teabag we do indeed have a new MDEC Manager, has taken over about six weeks ago; first impressions are very favourable, we shall see. We first met as one of the "top-team" who came to MDEC following a poor showing on HYS results in 2005/6.
is the second manager this year following the departure of late last year, first a chap call Adrian Smith took over on a six-month secondment, we are led to believe appointment is of a far more permanent nature - we are hoping for good things.

In my experience it is a trend in RM to keep managers (i am not one by the way) (specifically senior managers), on the move. Progression for them comes at a price, namely a constant uprooting, to sometimes anywhere in the country depending upon the position they seek. You just have to hope that the one you get, has a common sense approach along with an ability to work with the union, rather than against it.
