Re: Tranfering to MDEC
Also, the night shift reps work a 4 day 10 hour shift, so wouldn't be there 5 nights a week in any case.

Maybe so, kaotician.kaotician wrote:Also, the night shift reps work a 4 day 10 hour shift, so wouldn't be there 5 nights a week in any case.
He/she is putting in his/her full shift.
I am on about the guy who only seems to be half the year.
Take care, folks.

Re: Tranfering to MDEC
Funnily enough, half a year would be about right - 6 weeks hols @ 42 days, plus 8 bank holidays, plus 46 days for 4 day week, plus weekends 46 x 2 days = 92 = 188 days, leaving 177 working days

I guess that lets him off the hook, then.kaotician wrote:Funnily enough, half a year would be about right - 6 weeks hols @ 42 days, plus 8 bank holidays, plus 46 days for 4 day week, plus weekends 46 x 2 days = 92 = 188 days, leaving 177 working days![]()

BTW, this rep works on the "lates" shift, not the "night" shift. So it's "five days", not "four days".

Re: Tranfering to MDEC
The innuendo in this string about reps getting it easy at the MDEC is perfectly fair - in much the same way that arms and legs get it easy in a tank of piranha fish. Again, if you feel there's an issue, you should raise it, and get your fears/ideas answeered or settled - or not, as the case might be. Surely merely raising suspicions about people is unfair and unjust?

Re: Tranfering to MDEC
It's not about getting it easy.
My issue is that the rep in question slagged off Pam Foster on these threads 18 months ago, and is now "bum chums" with the shift manager.
The same shift manager who "welcomed" Stoke MDEC with a volley of "don't f*** with me" when he first arrived. Such a charming fellow, isn't he?
Also, how can somebody do their job as a rep when they are in only 2-3 days of the week?
Take care, folks.

Re: Tranfering to MDEC
I am thinking of putting a complaint against one of the managers in the MDEC. I have had enough of this manager and I feel it is time to say something
