This large, professionally taken black and white print was brought in by Grantham Journal reader Robert Geeson. Posing for the camera in smart attire, complete with medals in many cases, in 1935 are Grantham Post Office motor drivers and supervising officers. The photograph was handed down to Robert by his grandmother.

Pictured, second from left on the front row, is Robert’s grandfather, who was also named Robert.
