forgive me i do not mean to offend fellow members but i can recall a time when unions used to make funds available to striking members

is this a sad thing of the past - days gone by - in times like this does what does our fees actually cover :sad: :sad: :sad:

heres a ideas why dont our national officers take a wage of a postie and dont get paid when we are on strike

According to our Area Rep, whose word I trust, the CWU will be donating £400,000 to Bottler this year. Even if that amount was doubled, it wouldn't amount to much between those of us on strike. But, I'd rather light a bonfire with it than see Labour get a penny of it.

They could at least stop that weeks cwu suscription, its a bit lame when you are paid for a day and they still take out that!
