Is it sad to admit to enjoying reading the numerous posts here?
I don't know about the 'good old days' having only ten years service myself but a new recruit was surprised at some of my fondest recollections.
Anyone remember when we used to be given blue fingerless gloves to help combat the harsh winter? I'm sure I still have a mug or two and a complimentary pen somewhere :) Do you remember we when we used to begin delivery at 7am but it could be so dark that the little red torches (that clipped onto your coat) were a godsend? Second deliveries on a bloody pushbike, two and half hour walks with maybe three packets per bag... :)
