Mail sorter and mail processors

Are these roles obsolete now at Royal Mail? Haven’t seen any come up in years. So frustrating. I would to do this role l, I’m working at speed. Don’t have to interact too much just do your job efficiently and properly then go home.

Are these roles obsolete now. Can you only do these roles via an agency ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I know, these roles are now only available through Angard Staffing Agency. In the mail centre where I worked, I don't think anyone was taken on to RM staff to perform these duties after 2016. The only jobs available were for drivers, some of whom would then do additional hours in the mail centre.
