TVAM Postman of the year award.

Post by Abrach »

TVAM Postman of the year award. It was shown live on TV with video vignettes of all the postman in the running for the award.

I worked with Jim McDougal postman in Fort William. He was given the award in, I think 1984, though I've been unable to find any online information. Does anyone remember the TVAM award? Particularly Jim McDougal?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
