It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Look on the bright side ft, with only 500 drops, you know the average - south of watford, you would only have got 17.50 well plus your ESA, so you'll only be 9 quid or so down, phew! - lucky you didn't have 3 lots :whistle

Everyone getting ESA 1 and ESA 2 lost it.

The Pay and Mod agreement apparently said something along the lines that ESA was protected until there was a major pay review - and apparently 2010 with all the functional supplements counted as a major review.

So we lost it - be happy though that and giving up D2D payments and getting a Delivery Supplement is protecting Full Time jobs apparently. :hmmmm
