I am Peter and used to work as a postman till several years ago when ill health made it impossible to work. Now however I am trying to get back to part time work - never again with Royal Mail! - but although I was told I could get a reference by applying online anything up to six years after leaving I cannot find out what site or how!!
Can anybody help me with this please?

Thank you for that TrueBlueTerrier. I was actually hoping that I could apply for a reference myself so that when I do apply for a new job it would be ready to hand without depending on swift response from Royal Mail HR. But I will give them a ring tomorrow to find out whether that is possible.
