Work break allowance
Hi guys just wanting to know if the attached meal break times from a post in 2012 are still relevant today or have they changed? The reason I ask is because I do a 4hr collection and 2.30hrs delivery which is overtime so 6.30 total so what break am I allowed to take and is it paid? Cheers

Yes, its still current.
30 mins
Yes, its paid.
Separately the 4-hour collection would get you 20 mins. The 2.5hr delivery 10 minutes. So you can take them combined or individually the amount will remain the same.
However, the bosses may insist on you taking them in the appropriate shift, especially if there is a gap between the 2 shifts. The shifts themselves should take into account your individual breaks.
