Well I've been reading so many posts on here and have found most to be really informative - it took me some time to disable the more than slightly annoying "FreeWeb" bit.

Anyway thanks everyone for your smashing posts. I had word that I am at step 6 and waiting to here whether I've passed my checks etc. I've sent my photo which could stop my gallop, as it doesn't matter who, where, when or why I have my picture taken, I always look like a criminal.
I'm living in hope that all pans out OK as I've wanted to be a postie for a fair while. Not sure if anyone can let me know what my chances may be having been conditionally offered the job etc. but good luck to anyone else hoping to get a job with RM.
Very rural where I live and I love being outside meeting folk so fingers crossed.

Thanks for your reply - got confirmation and am booked on to induction day in October. Happy days
