newbie here but having problems already
hi i started with royal mail today got my first wage slip and i have been paid 5.45 a hour when i was contracted to 8pound some thing a hour? how long does this take to correct and will they sort it asap? and the delivery office i am suppose to work from rang me yesterday and said they have no work for me for the next 6 weeks due to changing things and to go to another office saying they should be able to find me something im contracted to that office and doing postman with driving ?

If you did overtime it's not usually included till the following week.
As to working in another office that is covered by your contract, and there are agreements in place. At the very least you should be paid some mileage. Officially it's up to your parent unit to get you to and from the other office "Within" your duty times.

ah cheers no not done any over time as only just started says 16.5 hours 88 quid some thing which works out at 5.42 a hour ish ? lol ill ring pay up tomorrow cos that sure isnt right and thanks i didnt know i could claim mileage i will look in to that :) thank you very much
