I've joined in your post today. I'm an outsider trying to understand both sides of the dispute. My work interest is how old ideas of leadership are being challenged. So I'm studying disputes. Maybe I will speak out on behalf of the Union.

I have a close relation 'in management', I work for a Business School, my family were in the NUR right back to the Taff Vale dispute. As an outsider I am worried there is no obvious 'win win' solution coming up.

My dad's side of the family were all NUR. 'Workers of the World Unite' on the old badge. Taff Vale. We're all a bit more legally minded because of that one!

Hello and welcome Tudor - boy you'll certainly get the workers point of view on here. We don't expect a "Win Win" situation (boy do I hate that expression now) just Royal Mail to take on board what we are saying and start to negotiate in good faith.
